Maura Hempstead

Longtime resident and lifetime fan of Cape Cod, Maura Hempstead recently launched her real estate career.

Maura lives in Barnstable Village with her husband, three teenagers and their famous Bassett Hound, Moose, all of whom can often be found cruising around town or floating on Cape Cod Bay!

Maura also teaches part time at Cape Cod Community College, as Retail Vocational Instructor for Project Forward, working with students to develop their retail skills and link them with opportunities in the Cape Cod business community.

Maura previously owned and operated Mosees, a boutique showcasing the works of 150 artists and artisans located in the heart of Barnstable Village and named 2015 Best of Cape Cod for Unique Gifts!

As a board member of the Barnstable Village Association, Maura founded and chaired the Farmers Market and Summer Stroll Committees. These involved roles in her Cape Cod community positioned Maura uniquely to guide families toward homes in the area.

“I have always loved real estate, its like a great treasure hunt! Growing up in Little Compton, RI and coming to Cape Cod all my life, I have a strong affection for the beauty and serenity of New England and its classic homes, stone walls, winding roads and sandy beaches. I am excited for the opportunity to help folks find their slice of paradise!”
